Examination Results
We are proud of our reputation for academic success, but a Winchester education provides more than academic results alone. We encourage pupils to investigate themes, explore ideas and see connections well beyond the examined syllabus. This ensures that they leave Winchester with the ability to understand and tackle the complexities and challenges which further education (not to mention life) will bring.
Leavers’ Destinations
Our dedicated ‘Futures’ team supports students’ applications to UK, US, and other international universities, with subject specialists offering subject-specific guidance.
A significant number of our pupils go to Oxbridge or a Russell Group university every year. Other destinations include leading US universities, such as Brown, Chicago, Columbia, Dartmouth, Duke, Georgetown, Harvard, MIT, Princeton, UNC, UPenn and Yale.
