The New Winchester College Sports Centre
We look forward to opening our new Sports Centre to pupils in the Autumn Term 2024. The exciting new facilities will include a double-sized sports hall incorporating a climbing wall, indoor cricket nets, badminton, futsal, volleyball, tennis and netball courts. In addition, there will be 6 squash courts, 6 fives courts, Dojo, gym, and the exercise and dance studios. The swimming pool is due to be opened at a later date.
Members of the public
The Sports Centre will be open to members of the public and new hirers in 2025. If you would like to hear more or register your interest, please complete the form below.
Whilst our new Sports Centre is not currently open to the public we continue to offer our other sports facilities to local clubs and organisations, including our outdoor facilities which can be booked through the Enterprise office. Our Temporary Sports Centre is currently only open to pupils and staff, as well as pre-existing hirers.
Regulations for use
It is important that users do not enter the changing rooms outside any published permitted times in order to avoid breaching the Child Protection Act. Please also note that it is a requirement under Health & Safety Legislation that members sign in and carry with them their membership cards when they are in the facility.
